Your week-by-week schedule
In chronological story order. Long seasons are split across weeks by episode, so no week runs far over your hours.
How the schedule is built
The planner works through the MCU in chronological story order, the same order as our MCU chronological order, and fills each week with titles until the next one would push you past your weekly hours. Movies are never split, but a long season is broken up by episode, so a nine-episode show can run across two weeks instead of swallowing one whole. Your first week starts today.
Pick “Weekly hours” if you know roughly how much time you have and want a finish date. Pick “Finish by a date” if you're working back from a release, like Avengers: Doomsday, and want to know the pace you need. Be honest with the number. Seven hours a week sounds modest, but it means a movie most nights, and a plan you can keep beats an ambitious one you drop in week three.
When the schedule looks right, add it to your calendar. Each week shows up as a single all-day reminder listing that week's titles, so it won't clutter your evenings. Short on time? Switch to “Essentials only”, or use the MCU essentials list and the prep guides to cut the marathon down to the titles that matter most. The how long to watch the MCU page breaks the runtime down by phase.
Planner FAQ
How does the marathon planner work?
It takes the MCU in story order (227h 26m in total) and fills each week with titles up to your weekly hours, splitting long seasons by episode. The finish date is the end of the last week.
Does it account for titles I have already watched?
Not yet. The planner always schedules the whole list you choose (full MCU, essentials or movies only). The watch tracker on the homepage shows how many hours you have left, which you can use to pick a realistic weekly pace.
Can I plan to finish before Avengers: Doomsday?
Yes. Choose “Finish by a date” and pick Avengers: Doomsday (Dec 18, 2026). The planner works out the weekly hours you need and lays out a schedule that finishes in time. If the full MCU needs too many hours, switch to “Essentials only”.
Can I export my schedule?
Yes. Tap “Add to my calendar (.ics)”. You get one all-day reminder at the start of each week listing that week’s titles. The file opens in Apple Calendar and Outlook, and you can add it to Google Calendar through Settings, then Import & export.
