Every Marvel Watch Order, in One Place
Updated
There’s more than one right way to watch Marvel, and this page lists all of ours. Start with a full MCU order, narrow it down to a Phase or a single hero, or jump straight to the prep list for the next release.
Not sure where to begin? First-timers should use release order; rewatchers usually enjoy chronological order. Everything else here is a shortcut through one of those two.

Watch order FAQ
Which Marvel watch order should I use?
Release order for your first time through, chronological order for a rewatch. If you only care about one hero, use their character watch order; if you’re catching up for a new movie, use its prep list.
What’s the difference between a character order and a movie series order?
A movie series order lists the films in one series, such as the three Iron Man films. A character order lists every appearance, including team-ups and TV, so Tony Stark’s covers ten films rather than three.
Do these watch orders include the Fox X-Men and Sony Spider-Man films?
The MCU orders follow Marvel’s official timeline, so they don’t. The X-Men and Spider-Man movie series lists, the Marvel movies in order page and the animated guide cover everything from every studio.
Is there a watch order for just the Disney+ shows?
Release and chronological order both include them, and our guide to which Disney+ shows matter grades each one. The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. order shows how that series fits around the films.
