Why it matters now

It's the LEGO take on the Loki redemption question, and the second Atomic Cartoons special, after Climate Conundrum (2020), in the run that leads to Code Red and Mission Demolition.

About LEGO Marvel Avengers: Loki in Training

LEGO Marvel Avengers: Loki in Training is a 22-minute animated special that Atomic Cartoons made for Marvel and the LEGO Group. Atomic Cartoons lists its release date as November 1, 2021. Loki decides he wants to be an Avenger, so Iron Man takes him on as an Avenger in Training. Thanos then arrives on Earth hunting for Loki, which wrecks Tony's plan.

Bill Newton voices Loki. The returning cast from 2020's Climate Conundrum includes Giles Panton as Iron Man (he also voices Crossbones), Ian Hanlin as Thor, Michael Daingerfield as Captain America, James Blight as the Hulk and Deven Mack as Thanos. Gavin Hignigh wrote it. It's the second Atomic Cartoons LEGO Avengers special, after Climate Conundrum, and it's separate from the MCU.

Good to know

How to watch it

No homework needed. It's a standalone kids' comedy, and knowing that Loki is Thor's troublemaking brother covers it. It's worth watching before Time Twisted, which brings back the same voice cast and Thanos. Older fans looking for MCU connections won't find any. It has nothing to do with the Loki series on Disney+ despite arriving the same year.
