About Marvel One-Shot: Team Darryl
Team Darryl is the third and final Team Thor short, and it picks up from Thor: Ragnarok's post-credits scene. Darryl Jacobson, Thor's old Earth roommate, has moved to Los Angeles, and the only person who answered his roommate ad was the Grandmaster. Darryl ends up as his assistant, doing chores and driving him around while the Grandmaster records videos promoting his plan to conquer Earth. When those get no views, the comedy turns darker.
Taika Waititi wrote and directed it, as he did the first two shorts, and co-produced with Brad Winderbaum and Kevin Feige. Daley Pearson returns as Darryl opposite Jeff Goldblum's Grandmaster, and Chris Hemsworth sits this one out. Shot in the same mockumentary style as Waititi's What We Do in the Shadows, it runs just a few minutes and came out as a bonus feature with Thor: Ragnarok on digital in February 2018 and Blu-ray in March. CBR found it as funny as the earlier shorts, if a bit more disturbing.

Watch Team Thor (2016) and Team Thor: Part 2 (2017) first, then Thor: Ragnarok, then this short, since it continues straight from Ragnarok's post-credits scene. At only a few minutes, it's an easy add to any Thor rewatch. It's best for fans of Waititi's deadpan humor and anyone who wanted more of Goldblum's Grandmaster.
