About Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Slingshot
Slingshot is a short tie-in to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. that fills in the time between seasons 3 and 4. Under the new rules, the Inhuman Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez has had to sign the Sokovia Accords. But she has her own mission: finding Victor Ramon, the arms dealer who killed her cousin. The Accords say she has to follow procedure first, so she takes a shortcut that puts her at odds with S.H.I.E.L.D.
All six episodes were released on ABC.com on December 13, 2016, after the season 4 mid-season finale. Each runs between 3 and 6 minutes. ABC Studios and Marvel Television made the series, with Geoffrey Colo as its main creative force. Natalia Cordova-Buckley leads, with Clark Gregg, Chloe Bennet, Jason O'Mara, Ming-Na Wen, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge and Henry Simmons appearing, and Yancey Arias as Ramon. Marvel's Joe Quesada directed the first episode. Reviews were positive, calling it a fun, quick watch.
