About Eyes of Wakanda: Season 1
Season 1 of Eyes of Wakanda is a four-part animated anthology about the Hatut Zaraze, Wakanda's elite warriors sent abroad to recover vibranium artifacts that have left the country. Each episode jumps to a different point in history: Bronze Age Crete in 1260 BC, the Trojan War, 15th-century China and the mystical city of K'un-Lun, and Ethiopia in 1896 during the First Italo-Ethiopian War. The missions pit loyalty to Wakanda's secrecy against the warriors' own consciences.
Todd Harris created the show and served as showrunner, with Ryan Coogler's Proximity Media co-producing alongside Marvel Studios Animation and Axis Animation animating. Geoffrey Thorne and Marc Bernardin wrote the episodes. The voice cast includes Winnie Harlow as Noni, Cress Williams, Larry Herron as B'Kai, Jona Xiao as the Iron Fist Jorani, Zeke Alton and Anika Noni Rose. All four episodes, each about half an hour, came out together on August 1, 2025. Critics were positive (91% on Rotten Tomatoes), and the first episode won an Emmy for character design.

How to watch it
Watch Black Panther (2018) and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever first, since the series assumes you know Wakanda's secrecy and vibranium. The episodes are self-contained and ordered by date, so watch them in order; the season finishes in under two hours. "Lost and Found" (episode 3) is the best pick for Iron Fist fans. Since it's set across the past, it fits at the start of a chronological MCU watch, but most viewers will enjoy it more after the films.
