About M.O.D.O.K.
George Tarleton, better known as M.O.D.O.K., has run the evil organization A.I.M. into the ground, and the tech company GRUMBL buys it out from under him. Now he faces a midlife crisis at home in suburban New Jersey as well, with his wife Jodie, his kids Melissa and Lou, and a lot of trouble from his own past.
Patton Oswalt and Jordan Blum created the show and served as showrunners for Marvel Television, and Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, the Robot Chicken studio, animated it in stop-motion. Hulu released all 10 episodes on May 21, 2021. Oswalt voices M.O.D.O.K., with Aimee Garcia, Ben Schwartz, Melissa Fumero and Wendi McLendon-Covey, plus Nathan Fillion as the vain actor-hero Wonder Man. Critics liked the animation, writing and Oswalt's performance, but Hulu canceled it in May 2022.

- Jon Hamm voices Iron Man.
- The show's universe is Earth-1226, a nod to Jordan Blum's son's birthday.
- Its working title was Bighead.
- A tie-in comic, M.O.D.O.K.: Head Games, was co-written by Oswalt and Blum.
How to watch it
This is a standalone adult comedy with no tie to the MCU, so you can watch it anytime. It packs in Marvel deep cuts, so longtime comics readers will catch the most jokes, but a sitcom fan can follow it without that background. Fans of Robot Chicken's style will feel at home. Ten short episodes make it an easy weekend watch.
