Daniel Sousa Watch Order

Start with Agent Carter: Season 1 and work down the list. All 3 films and shows below are in release order, and the list ends with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Season 7. Daniel Sousa is Agent Carter’s steadfast partner, and his story moves from the SSR to S.H.I.E.L.D.

The whole list runs about 23h 15m, with releases from 2015 to 2020.

Who is Daniel Sousa?

Daniel Sousa doesn't come from the comics. He was created for the Agent Carter TV series, and Enver Gjokaj plays him in both of his MCU homes. He is a World War II veteran who was badly wounded in the war and walks with a crutch, which gets him written off by most of the agents around him at the Strategic Scientific Reserve in 1946 New York.

In Agent Carter Season 1 (2015) he is the one SSR agent who takes Peggy Carter seriously, and the first to work out that she has been helping Howard Stark behind the bureau's back. Season 2 (2016) moves him to Los Angeles as chief of the SSR's West Coast office, and his relationship with Peggy is one of the season's main threads. ABC canceled the show after that season, which left their story unfinished.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. picked him up four years later. In Season 7 (2020), the team's time-travel mission lands in 1955, and Sousa ends up joining Coulson's crew on the Zephyr.
